Take the A75 to the Newton Stewart roundabout. Take the A714 to Wigtown. Continue towards Whithorn, but after Kirkinner, up the hill, take the B7004 to Garlieston. Galloway Tanks (Penkiln Farm) is the sixth road-end on the left just before Garlieston.
